This bespoke 501m² home in Forest Hills was designed to create a sense of space, flexibility, and cohesion for a growing family.
With five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and multiple living areas, the layout balances open-plan living with more formal spaces, allowing each area to feel distinct while still working together as a whole. The result is a home that feels expansive without losing its sense of flow.
Material selection plays a key role throughout. Natural stone benchtops, marble-tiled bathrooms, and custom timber features add depth and texture, while carefully chosen lighting creates subtle points of interest across the home.
Built on a sloping block, the project required a considered approach to foundations. An engineered pad was used to create a stable base, supported by carefully planned drainage and landscaping to ensure long-term performance.
Completed over 11 months, the finished home carries a strong sense of scale and refinement, with each detail contributing to a result that feels both cohesive and carefully resolved.
